2nd Line Support Analyst
Your new role
Healthcare Gateway`s unique software connects over 180 health and social care organisations across the UK to share 30 million patient records. We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills and a strong knowledge of reading and understanding HTML and XML code to provide support to our customers and partners using our market leading software – the Medical Interoperability Gateway (MIG).
Our 2nd Line Support Analysts provide support to our customers and partners on a number of issues around integration problems. This will include troubleshooting and identifying incidents with both HGL and partner software applications, primarily in HTML and XML. The role includes collaboration with development teams integrating our services into their systems, so someone with a career aspiration towards software development would gain more exposure to this discipline. We are looking for someone who enjoys innovation and improving services, ensuring that the information we gather is consistent, concise and available to those that need it.
The team you’ll join
You’ll be part of our Healthcare Gateway Technical Integration department, who’re a close-knit team of individuals passionate about innovation and what we do. You`ll have regular contact with the wider Healthcare Gateway team; including our sales, marketing, project management and product teams, so plenty of knowledge and expertise to help you to succeed in your role!
What you’ll bring
These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success in this role, however we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them:
- Previous experience in a technical support environment at 1st and 2nd line level
- Strong understanding and troubleshooting ability with HTML and XML
- Use of WordPress to maintain documentation
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Great customer service skills
