Technical Integration Engineer

Your new role

Healthcare Gateway`s unique software connects over 4000 health and social care organisations across the UK to share 30 million patient records. We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills and a strong knowledge of reading and understanding HTML and XML code to provide support to our customers and partners using our market leading software – the Medical Interoperability Gateway (MIG).

Our Technical Integration Engineers provide support to our customers and partners on a number of issues around integration problems. This will include troubleshooting and identifying incidents with both HGL and partner software applications, primarily in HTML and XML

The team you’ll join

You’ll be part of our Healthcare Gateway Technical Integration department, who’re a close-knit team of individuals passionate about innovation and what we do. You`ll have regular contact with the wider Healthcare Gateway team; including our sales, marketing, project management and product teams, so plenty of knowledge and expertise to help you to succeed in your role!

What you’ll bring

These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success in this role, however we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them:

  • Previous experience in a technical support environment at 1st and 2nd line level
  • Strong understanding and troubleshooting ability with HTML and XML
  • Excellent problem solving ability
  • Great customer service skills

Our technology provides healthcare professionals with instant access to real-time vital information held about a patient from many different care settings.

We have an innovative technology that supports the delivery of first-class health and social care. We mobilise important healthcare information to ensure that, whichever health or social care setting a patient presents, the most up to date and relevant information is made available.

As the newest member of our New Business Development team, you will work to improve Healthcare Gateway Limited’s market position and achieve financial growth through the full sales cycle.

The team you’ll join

Although you will be home based, you will liaise with our driven business development team of six in order to help you hunt down new business.

You`ll have regular contact with the wider Healthcare Gateway team; including our sales, marketing, project management and product teams, so plenty of knowledge and expertise to help you to succeed in your role!

What you’ll bring

These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success in this role, however we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them:

  • You’ll be a proven new business hunter, with experience of identifying business opportunities and creating key customer relationships
  • You’ll have a sound understanding of the healthcare industry
  • You’ll have experience of putting together tender documentation and writing proposals
