Netcall completes MIG accreditation

Netcall PLC are the latest system provider to complete the Medical Interoperability Gateway (MIG) accreditation process.

This means their customers will soon have access to real time patient data from the MIG.

Netcall is a leading provider of end-to-end patient engagement solutions to the NHS and local government. Their mission is to transform the way clients interact with customers. They are working in partnership with Newcastle City Council to create a secure portal, which will use the MIG to share out patient information with social care organisations.

“Our partnership with Netcall demonstrates the ease and flexibility of MIG integration. New partnerships like this help to increase access to MIG services and connectivity between different care organisations. We’re looking forward to working with Netcall and being part of Newcastle project, which will enhance our offer to social care providers.” Peter Anderson Managing Director, Healthcare Gateway.

“We see the importance of sharing information across primary and secondary care. As we see a shift in acute pathways moving towards care within the community, sharing of information becomes essential.  Our solutions transform patient experience and internal processes for 70% of the UKs acute trusts. Netcall’s accreditation to the MIG process enhances this experience further. It gives our customers the ability to access relevant patient data in real time, in a secure environment. And patients have access to services, when they need it.” David Bennie, Health Marketing Manager, Netcall.
