Centennial MIT partners with the MIG

Centennial MIT has completed the Medical Interoperability Gateway (MIG) accredited process for healthcare system suppliers.

This means their customers can now consume real time patient data from the MIG.

Using the MEDITECH V6 application, clinicians across acute and community settings will be able to view data from a wide range of healthcare organisations.

Having access to different types of patient information will help local healthcare providers to build a clinically integrated network, which delivers the highest quality of patient care.

“We’re delighted Centennial MIT has become the latest organisation to partner with us. The MIG provides a many to many any to any service, which supports local integration. We hope that this partnership will support healthcare professionals across the country to provide the best clinical decisions and outcomes for patients.” Peter Anderson – Managing Director, Healthcare Gateway.

“We are looking forward to providing the MIG solution to current and future customers, and thereby focusing on the clinical needs of the patient wherever the information is stored in the local health economy. The MEDITECH V6 product underpins a cooperating organisation, the MIG integration extends the cooperation across organisational boundaries into the community. A very exciting opportunity.” Charles Blackburn – CEO, Centennial MIT.
